Getting visitors involved in your site is a great way to develop returning visitors, and a unique way to build content. Getting your visitors involved has come to be referred to as Building a Community, wherein you foster communications between yourself and your visitors, and between your visitors. By encouraging your visitors to comment on your site material, and amongst each other, by providing a means for your visitors to talk to one another through your site, and by providing a means for visitors to be able to post content to your site themselves, builds a sense of ownership and community that can grow strongly among members. An active community based web site can generate a lot of revenue from advertisers, product/service sales as well as building site value.| < Prev | Next > |
