The Church Athletic League of Kingston (CAL) is the premier hockey league for children and youth of Kingston, Ontario. Our 1,100 players from age 5 to 17, ranks the CAL as the second largest, independent house league in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA).
The CAL was founded in 1950 and is welcoming many 3rd generation players to family-friendly hockey. All players enjoy equal ice time, regardless of ability. The CAL house league hockey is "non-body checking".
Our Goal and Objectives include·
- To help our players become good citizens.
- To instil the mutual respect upheld by all religions
- To promote the principles of good citizenship
- To encourage appreciation, fun and understanding among all participants
- To build good character through the examples set by coaches, managers and volunteers
- To treat all participants fairly, regardless of ability.
